Played at a ukulele open mic night today. Not sure if it’s something I want to do again or not… It wasn’t too harsh as it was a really really small crowd, but the applause somehow felt rather insincere. Something about playing to a camera and having no response, is more comforting than playing to people and worrying that the response is not genuine.

Seeing this makes me want to befriend a rich musician in the hopes that I could convince them to build a full sized living space that looks like these do. The thought of waking up and taking a walk through to the violin to make breakfast, and then heading into the guitar to read a book, before a bit of music making or painting in the piano or cello….

I must dream on.
